Battle of the Books
Battle of the Books is a reading challenge for grades 4 through 8 featuring Maryland Black-Eyed Susan Award nominated books.
How to Participate
Follow the steps below to participate:
Choose either the elementary school (grades 4 and 5) or middle school (grades 6 through 8) challenge.
Earn points by reading titles from our book lists, taking our online practice quizzes and attending our virtual events. There are two ways to log the points you've earned:
1. Beanstack's Interactive Gameboard—Register with Beanstack to track your activity online or through the app on your phone.
2. Complete a Paper Game Board—Download and print your own (PDF) or pick up a copy at any branch.Visit the branch during the week of Monday, June 14 through Friday, June 18, to pick up your completion prize.
